- Are the tools really free, and what is the catch?
- They are free and there is no signup. They run in your browser, so they cost us almost nothing to serve. Some pages carry advertising and some carry affiliate links, both marked. The tools themselves are how people find out THQT exists, which is the whole business model.
- Does anything I type get sent to a server?
- No. Every tool on this site computes in your browser. There is no API call and no upload. If you close the tab, the data is gone. The only exception is your own business details on the invoice generator, and only if you tick the box asking us to remember them on your device.
- What does the THQT app do that the free tools do not?
- The tools each do one thing once. The app keeps your customers, runs your invoice numbering in sequence, tracks which invoices are paid, and sends reminders on the ones that are not. The free tools produce a document. The app runs the process around it.
