Who these apply to
These terms govern your use of www.thqt.me, operated by Kartikeya Mishra from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Using the site means accepting them. The THQT application, when it launches, will have its own separate terms.
The tools are calculators, not advisers
Every tool on this site performs arithmetic on numbers you supply. None of them decides classification, verifies a registration, checks a rate against a current notification, or knows anything about your circumstances.
This matters most where it is easiest to forget. The GSTIN validator confirms that a number is well-formed; it cannot tell you whether the registration exists or is active. The interest calculator applies a formula to a bank rate you enter; it does not know the rate in force, and it does not decide whether the MSMED Act applies to your supply. The invoice generator lays out the fields Rule 46 requires; it cannot know whether the codes and rates you entered are the right ones.
Nothing on this site is tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. It does not create a professional relationship. Do not file, remit or send a formal notice on the strength of a result from a free web tool without a professional confirming it.
Accuracy and change
GST rates, thresholds, HSN and SAC classifications and procedural requirements change by notification, sometimes with little notice. Every page carries the date it was last reviewed. Between reviews, content can go out of date without us knowing.
We write carefully and we correct things when they are wrong. We do not warrant that any page is accurate, complete or current on the date you read it. If you find an error, write to hello@thqt.me and we will fix it.
Availability
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted or free from error. We may change, move or withdraw any tool or page at any time.
Your responsibility
You agree not to:
- Use the site for anything unlawful
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or to any connected system
- Interfere with its operation, or place unreasonable load on it
- Scrape or systematically copy the content for republication
- Click advertising other than out of genuine interest, or encourage anyone else to
You are responsible for the correctness of anything you produce with these tools and for it complying with whatever law applies to you.
Intellectual property
The writing, design and code on this site belong to us. Documents you produce using the tools are yours; we claim nothing in them.
You may quote from the guides with attribution and a link. You may not republish them in bulk, with or without attribution, and you may not use them to train a model that reproduces them.
Third-party links
We link to other sites, including some affiliate links marked as such. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their handling of your data.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything in it, including tax liabilities, penalties, interest, lost profit or lost business. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
Changes
We may update these terms. The updated date at the top will change. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
