Who we are

This website is operated by Kartikeya Mishra, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. For anything in this policy, including a request about your data, write to grievance@thqt.me. We answer within thirty days.

In the language of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 we are the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through this website. Under the GDPR we are the controller.

What the tools collect: nothing

The invoice generator, GST calculator, GSTIN validator, interest calculator, numbering tool and reminder writer all run entirely in your browser. There is no server call. Invoice amounts, customer names, GSTINs and anything else you type stay on your device and are discarded when you close the tab.

The one exception is the "remember my business details" checkbox in the invoice generator. If you tick it, your own business name, address, GSTIN and bank details are saved in your browser's local storage on that device. They are never transmitted to us. Clear them with the button on the tool, or by clearing site data in your browser. Customer details are never stored, even locally.

What we do collect

Analytics

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people use and where they arrive from. It sets cookies and processes a truncated form of your IP address, your device and browser type, and the pages you view. We use it to decide what to build and write next. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not link it to anything you type into a tool.

If you decline, no analytics cookie is set and no measurement data is sent. Google Consent Mode is set to denied by default on every page, before any tag loads.

Advertising

Some pages carry advertising served by Google AdSense. Where you have consented, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.

We do not place ads on the tools' input areas, the homepage, or any page in the signup path, and we do not show ads on pages that carry no editorial content of ours.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links, always marked as paid links where they appear. If you follow one, the merchant may set a cookie so that a later purchase is attributed to us. We receive aggregate reporting from those programmes: how many people clicked and how many purchased. We do not receive your name, your email or your payment details. See our affiliate disclosure.

Email you send us

If you write to us, we keep the message and your address for as long as needed to deal with it and for a reasonable period afterwards, and then delete it. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Hosting and logs

The site is served from Firebase Hosting, operated by Google. As with any web server, requests produce standard logs including IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent. These are used for security and reliability, and are retained on Google's standard schedule. They are not combined with analytics data.

Why we are allowed to process it

• Analytics and advertising: your consent, which you give or withhold in the banner and can change at any time.
• Server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.
• Correspondence: our legitimate interest in answering you.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023, if you are in India, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data of yours we process and a summary of it
• Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated
• Withdraw consent as easily as you gave it
• Take an unresolved grievance to the Data Protection Board of India

Under the GDPR, if you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to:

• Access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing
• Data portability
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
• Complain to your national supervisory authority

Send any request to grievance@thqt.me. There is nothing to prove and no form to fill in. Note that because the tools store nothing on our servers, in most cases the honest answer to "what do you hold about me" is: nothing beyond anonymous analytics.

How long we keep things

• Analytics data: retained on the retention period configured in Google Analytics, currently fourteen months
• Your consent choice: stored in your browser, not on our servers
• Email correspondence: for as long as needed, then deleted
• Tool inputs: never stored by us at all

Children

This site is for people running a business and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has provided us data, write to us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Google Analytics and Google AdSense process data on infrastructure that may sit outside India and outside the EEA. Google's own transfer mechanisms, including standard contractual clauses where applicable, govern those transfers.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top changes and, where the change affects consent, the banner will ask you again.
